[just before dusk, plants started moving closer around the barn known as La Grange. by the time it's dark, they've all settled themselves down into inconspicuous clumps. just kind of hanging out. you know, like you do.

someone who was particularly wary might notice that everything seems a little quieter than normal. but otherwise, just your average plant-filled night in camp.]

also we will be conducting a small series of experiments on whether they wake up if, for example, someone plays with their toes a bit. or strokes their leg. or settles down next to them in the bed to watch and see whether they breathe while they're asleep.]
